OpenTox USA 2013
OpenTox InterAction Meeting
Innovation in Predictive Toxicology
Open Infrastructure and Application Development, Integrated Data Analysis, Biokinetics
Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Weight of Evidence, Risk Assessment
Organised in Collaboration with ToxBank
29 - 30 October 2013
Hamner Conference Center, North Carolina Biotechnology Center, Raleigh-Durham, USA
This meeting will discussed latest developments in predictive toxicology, including in silico modelling and application development, integrated data analysis, biokinetics, cheminformatics, bioinformatics, weight of evidence and risk assessment. Discussions will include consideration of current research and development directions in addition to risk assessment and regulatory and industry needs.
Organising Committee
The meeting will be co-chaired by Barry Hardy (Douglas Connect), Scott Auerbach (NIEHS), Rusty Thomas (US EPA), and Asish Mohapatra (Health Canada).
Abstract Submission
Abstracts should be submitted through the conference Easy Chair
system and will be reviewed by the organising
committee. The program will consist of both invited and submitted
presentations, with all abstracts subject to review. Accepted abstracts
will be included as either presentations in the conference sessions
and/or poster session. Abstracts should be 200-500 words in length and
should be submitted at the latest by 30 September 2013 for inclusion in the poster session. The final conference
program will be announced by 31 August 2013. Please submit your abstracts
using the form located at:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=opentoxusa2013
Poster Session
Posters loaded upon poster boards will be available throughout the conference. Presenters are also welcome to demonstrate novel methods and software. All posters will be reviewed at the meeting to provide presenters feedback. Awards for best posters and most innovative software will be announced in the final meeting session.Location
The meeting will be held at the Hamner Conference Center, North Carolina Biotechnology Center located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (www.ncbiotech.org). You can view a google map showing the location of the center and nearby hotels at:
